We will be meeting this Saturday the 13th @8am (I know….) to conduct a training session
on Cross Band repeating, common channel/frequency configurations with our HT’s and a after
action review of the Harris exercise on April 30th.
The location is open field area at Lake Crabtree at the first parking lot, (indicated by HERE on the map).

My plan is to bring a pop-up shelter and a few folding tables along with required gear to conduct the training.
I would also suggest that you start familiarizing yourself with the FREEWARE program called CHIRP. http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Home Going forward, we will have a common set of channels as defined by our Wake County ICS-217a which will be discussed during our training session.
Things to bring:
1. Folding chair
2. Your HT (programming cable / software / laptop / documentation(nifty guide)) – battery charged
3. Your current repeater list
4. Something to take notes
Coffee and doughnuts will be served.
I hope to see you this Saturday.
73!
