As announced on the Nets, we will have a field exercise and training event on Saturday 24-MAY-2014 from 08:00 to 12:00. The location, and link to a map, is 123 Middle Creek Park Ave. in Apex, NC.
Steve Newton, the Deputy Emergency Coordinator for Wake County Emergency Management, will give instruction on the setup and use of the mobile communications trailer. Frank Pleshe, Wake County AUXCOMM Emergency Coordinator, will direct the setup and use as many of the capabilities as time permits. We will concentrate on digital modes.

Directions: Middle Creek Park Ave runs west off West Lake Rd between Ten Ten Rd and Optimist Farm Rd. On Middle Creek Park Ave take the first driveway on your left onto the school property, and take first right into the parking lot. COMM-1 will be parked in the northwest corner of the lot (close to the road).
